WELCOME

This blog was thought up by a group of friends who met on another challenge blog that closed. We missed the challenges there and decided that it would be nice to challenge each other by collecting ideas and putting them all into a hat to draw one out each week as a challenge. Now Closed as a challenge blog but here for inspiration for now

Challenge 22-Altered Mousetrap

Hello Friends and Followers

What great projects were made for the challenge last week and it was lovely to visit your blogs and see how you made them. Thank you for taking time to join in with us at such a busy time of year. I'm afraid that some of the entries had to be deleted because they didn't follow our rules.

Please read our rules page here. If your entry doesn't follow the rules then it will be deleted without question.

Well here it is our mousetrap challenge. It didn't come 'out of a hat' at all, more from a need to have a go. Janet suggested it as she was doing one for another challenge and we all wanted to have a go straight away so it was added to our August list. Sandra suggested that it would be nice for the four of us to swap our mousetraps when they were finished and we have done that as well.

If you want to learn more about the way we made our mousetrap makeover just click on the names under the pictures and you will be transported to our blogs.

Sorry to see from Sam's comment that she couldn't get a mousetrap so maybe if you would like to join us and couldn't get one you could make a Faux mousetrap. The dimensions must be 4 1/2cms x 10 cms and the spring is 4 cms from one end-some curled wire would make a faux spring. We wouldn't want any of our crafting 'family' to miss out. don't give up trying to get a real one though because they are such fun to do.

Fab decorated mousetraps and what a great idea to swap them between yourselves.

Haven't had a chance to get one (and not sure where to get them from!!) been way too busy at work, so I'll probably not get a chance to play this week.

Sorry about that Sam--I had a job to get one as well. We have a store that I thought sold everything but he only had the one in wood and the others were the modern plastic ones.

Glorious challenge... and out of this world DT work! So kicking myself that I didn't buy stupidly cheap mousetraps in the Czech Republic when I saw them - bah!
