WELCOME

This blog was thought up by a group of friends who met on another challenge blog that closed. We missed the challenges there and decided that it would be nice to challenge each other by collecting ideas and putting them all into a hat to draw one out each week as a challenge. Now Closed as a challenge blog but here for inspiration for now

Challenge 27 Decorate a Bottle or Jar

Hello everyone-hope you have had a nice crafting week. It has turned much cooler here in the UK so time to stay indoors and do projects.

So many fantastic entries for the Halloween Challenge-we really loved visiting your blogs and seeing what you had made.

Names in the bucket ready for a winner to be drawn by Freddie

The prize winner for the Halloween Stamp from Tracy is Valerie Jael and Florence will be contacting you Valerie to say how to get the prize. Congratulations!! We hope you are feeling better. Also thank you to Tracy for the prize and inspiring us to have a Halloween challenge which seems to have been enjoyed by all.

Only one more week and we will be having Christmas here at Out of a Hat hosted by Florence so I hope you are all ready for that

This week we would like you to decorate a bottle or jar in any way you like at all. Amazing how different they can look with your personal added touches.

Challenge 26-Halloween

Hello Everyone and welcome to Challenge 26

What great projects you entered last week for the Oriental theme. It is always a pleasure to see what people have made when they join us in the challenges.

Tracy at Paper Craft Nut is sending this stamp set to a random winner drawn from a hat during this coming week. Names have been collected from the beginning of September of people who joined us in the challenges--good luck everyone and the winner will be announced in next week's challenge post.

Our Christmas in October here will be hosted by Florence so don't forget to join us in that--you could start some of the projects now to be sure to get them finished in time.

So this week we would like to see some Halloween projects and we would love you to join us in the challenge. The choice is yours--maybe just Halloween colours or something scary I bet you have lots of ideas that we would never have thought of.

Click the names under the pictures to go to our blogs if you would like to see more about the projects that we made

Challenge 25 Oriental Influences

Hello Everyone

Hope you have had a nice week and been enjoying your crafting.

Great recycled projects from you last week and it is always good to be able to make a project from something that would have probably been thrown away. If you are like me, not much is thrown away at all  if has potential I keep it.

From the last challenge in August until September 20th, every time you enter one of our challenges your name will go onto a list. This is because Tracy(Paper Craft Nut) has donated a prize.

We are going to fit in a Halloween Challenge on September 20th and after that a winner will be chosen by Tracy. Thank you Tracy for the prize which is a really great set of stamps for any collection.

October at Out of a Hat will be Christmas. Florence has put this together and if you click on the Christmas logo in the side bar you will be able to find our more about it all. The comments have now been enabled if you would like to leave a comment there we would love to read what you think.

Please read the rules page here. Not easy if you aren't English I know and we are trying to be tolerant with entries from other countries at the moment but any that don't follow the rules won't be added to the prize draw and may be deleted

Now to the challenge for this week, you can make anything you like that includes an Oriental Influence in the project. We would like to know a bit about how you made the projects when we visit your blog so it would be nice if you could tell us.

Here are the ones that we have made for this week and if you click on our names under the pictures you can go to our blogs and see how we made them
