WELCOME

This blog was thought up by a group of friends who met on another challenge blog that closed. We missed the challenges there and decided that it would be nice to challenge each other by collecting ideas and putting them all into a hat to draw one out each week as a challenge. Now Closed as a challenge blog but here for inspiration for now

Christmas in October - Challenge 31

Hello and Welcome to the Fourth and Final Challenge in the Christmas in October Hatters Challenge mini-fest.

We sincerely hope that you have all enjoyed the challenges.

We can not thank you enough for taking part in the challenges, sharing your wonderful projects and inspiring ideas with us, and for making this special event so successful

We hope you have made new friends along the way and have lots of ideas to carry forward to your own Christmas preparations.

We also hope that our Crafty Friends who have not been able to join in the challenges have enjoyed looking at all of the projects and have taken inspiration from them.

So for this, our final challenge, we are asking you to create a "Christmas Gift" or "Stocking Filler".

Maybe you make gifts for loved ones, crafty friends or co-workers.

Maybe you make little gifts to place on the tree for visitors.

We would love to see all of your  projects and ideas.

If you are new to the challenges please check out the rules before adding your project

Here are the Hatters projects that we would like to share with you.  Please click on the name/link below each photo to see how the project was made and to say Hello!

Christmas in October with the Hatters - Challenge 30

Hello and Welcome to the Christmas in October Hatters challenge

We hope you are all enjoying challenges as much as we are.

We had a fabulous response to last weeks Chrsitmas wrapping/packaging challenge. Thank you to everyone who took part and for generously sharing your wonderful projects and  ideas with us.

I can not believe we are already on the third challenge. Without further ado lets get crafting.

For this weeks challenge we are asking you to create a "Christmas Decoration".  Whether it be for the Christmas tree, table settings, for the door or to hang on the wall.  As always with the Hatters challenges there is lots of scope for this one.
Your project can be made from what ever materials are available to you, in what ever colours you prefer and in any style you like whether it be traditional or fun and quirky but please make it Christmas themed.
Here are the Hatters projects that we would like to share with you.

Christmas in October - Challenge 29

Hello everyone and welcome to you all to the Christmas In October with the Hatters.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who joined in last weeks Card Challenge and for sharing your ideas.  We had a terrific response.  All of the cards were fantasic. So many different designs and a host of inspirational ideas that we can all draw upon.

For the second challenge of the Christmas in October mini-fest we are asking you to create a form of packaging /wrapping for a Christmas gift.  There is lots of scope, as always, with this challenge.  Maybe you have ideas for some fancy stamped or decorated wrapping paper, gift boxes, or bottle tags/bottle wrappers..... the list is endless. You can use what ever materials are available to you and in what ever colours you choose but it must be Christmas themed.  Set the creative designer in you free and lets get crafting.

If you are new to the challenges please check out the Challenge rules before entering your project.
We can't wait to see your creations.
