This blog was thought up by a group of friends who met on another challenge blog that closed. We missed the challenges there and decided that it would be nice to challenge each other by collecting ideas and putting them all into a hat to draw one out each week as a challenge. Now Closed as a challenge blog but here for inspiration for now

Challenge 23 Favourite Technique or Product

Sorry that some of you  couldn't get mousetraps to join in last week's challenge-we did give you a few weeks to find one and also the alternative of making a Faux Mousetrap but if you would like this challenge again at a later date we are happy to bring it back again in the future. The ones that were entered were really beautiful with extra ideas to the ones we had thought up for sure.

Breaking news from Florence

'Anyone interested in bulk buying mouse traps for yourself or for craft clubs can buy them from Amazon 20 for £7.50 plus p&p. Just an idea.
Regards Florence x'

Please read our rules page here. If your entry doesn't follow the rules then it will be deleted without question.

From now until September 27th, every time you enter one of our challenges your name will go onto a list. This is because Tracy(Paper Craft Nut) has donated a prize.

We are going to fit in a Halloween Challenge on September 20th and after that a winner will be chosen by Tracy. Thank you Tracy for the prize which is a really great set of stamps for any collection.

Now to this week's challenge which is to make something either using your favourite technique or your favourite product. It isn't easy with so many wonderful things to chose  but we can't wait to see what you make. Hope you have fun joining us in this challenge.

Click on our names under the pictures to go to our blogs and see what things we have chosen for the challenge.

Challenge 22-Altered Mousetrap

Hello Friends and Followers

What great projects were made for the challenge last week and it was lovely to visit your blogs and see how you made them. Thank you for taking time to join in with us at such a busy time of year. I'm afraid that some of the entries had to be deleted because they didn't follow our rules.

Please read our rules page here. If your entry doesn't follow the rules then it will be deleted without question.

Well here it is our mousetrap challenge. It didn't come 'out of a hat' at all, more from a need to have a go. Janet suggested it as she was doing one for another challenge and we all wanted to have a go straight away so it was added to our August list. Sandra suggested that it would be nice for the four of us to swap our mousetraps when they were finished and we have done that as well.

If you want to learn more about the way we made our mousetrap makeover just click on the names under the pictures and you will be transported to our blogs.

Sorry to see from Sam's comment that she couldn't get a mousetrap so maybe if you would like to join us and couldn't get one you could make a Faux mousetrap. The dimensions must be 4 1/2cms x 10 cms and the spring is 4 cms from one end-some curled wire would make a faux spring. We wouldn't want any of our crafting 'family' to miss out. don't give up trying to get a real one though because they are such fun to do.

To add a link to your mousetrap please click on the frog at the bottom of this post and add your details-we look forward to seeing what you have come up with.

Challenge 21-Black White and one other Colour

Hello Crafters-hope you have had a good week and enjoyed the Olympics.

Fantastic to see that seven people found time to join us in the 'All Parceled Up' challenge and such beautiful and varied things you had made for it. Apologies to anyone who didn't get a comment from all four of us but there have been some problems commenting on some blogs this last week. Poor Florence has had the most problems and she so loves to leave comments for everyone. Hope it is all sorted out for this challenge.

Can I draw your attention to our rules page here and ask that you read them and comply with them before you join us in the challenges.

This week's challenge is to make anything that is black, white and one other colour. So many things to chose from and additional colours to add so it should be an easy challenge. Hope you will join in with us and we see a variety of your wonderful makes. Click on the frog at the end of the message to add your the link to your project.

Can't believe that three of us chose red to go with our black and white-thanks to Sandra we have another colour as well. If you want to learn more about our projects just click on the name under the pictures and go to our blogs. Always lovely to have a comment from you as well if you have time.
