This blog was thought up by a group of friends who met on another challenge blog that closed. We missed the challenges there and decided that it would be nice to challenge each other by collecting ideas and putting them all into a hat to draw one out each week as a challenge. Now Closed as a challenge blog but here for inspiration for now

Challenge 70-Patch Work Patterns

Hello Everyone and a special welcome to our new followers. We now have reached over 100 so thank you for joining us. Hope you are ready for a new challenge-the last one for July.

It is also the last challenge with Valerie as our guest so we say a big thank you to her for all the wonderful makes this last month and for being a regular supporter of our challenges. Also a big thank you to Janet for inviting the guests and arranging everything with them.

Not many people joined us for the 'Key' challenge last week but we loved seeing your take on the theme those who did join in. All are welcome and you can make anything you like so long as it follows the challenge theme.

This week the theme is 'Patch Work Pieces' and you can use pieces of anything to make a patchwork design anywhere on your project. Join in by adding your link at the bottom of this post.

Here are the projects we made and if you would like to see how we made them and leave a comment if possible, just click on the names under the pictures to go to our blogs.

Challenge 67-Stars and Stripes

Happy 4th of July to our friends in the US

Hello to everyone-it is always good to have people drop by and we hope that some of you will find time to join in with the Hatters for this week's challenge.

We loved what people made last week and enjoyed visiting your blogs.

This week we have the theme 'Stars and Stripes' and you can make anything you like with this theme

For the month of July we are very pleased to have our friend Valerie as guest designer. I am sure many of you visit her blog often and enjoy all the wonders that she produces for us all to share--including online cakes from time to time lol

This is what Valerie says about herself--

I am a retired - thank God! - teacher, who was let out after 35 years hard

labour, and is now enjoying being able to paint, craft and play all day. I was

born and grew up in London, in the heart of 'Jack-the-Ripper Land', studied

in Lincoln, Nottingham and later in London, and have been living in Germany

since 1972

Here is what we made in case you need any ideas and if you click on the names under the pictures you can go to our blogs to find out more about the projects we made.
